Kaiteriteri is centrally located in the Nelson Province. Approximately 2 hours drive to the Marlborough Sounds on the eastern side and approximately 2 hours drive to Farewell Spit on the western side. So base yourselves in our self-contained apartments and explore this wonderful region.

You could take a water taxi into the Abel Tasman National Park, enjoy a cruise, go for a sail or hire a kayak for a paddle.

The Abel Tasman is New Zealand's most accessible national park and allows you to enjoy it whether you're travelling with a young family and just want to take a picnic for the day or if you want to enjoy a multi day walk.

Or why not enjoy a stroll along the beautiful golden beach just in front of your accommodation. Look out for the New Zealand fur seal which can often be found sunning itself on the rocks. Or if you really want to stretch your legs you could follow the coast around to Stephens Bay.

If feeling like a leisurely day, wander down from the apartments and just enjoy a good book while lying on the beach and cooling off with a relaxing swim. Enjoy an ice cream from the local store.

Kaiteriteri has a world class mountain bike track which is open all year round, try your skills or just enjoy the ride.
